Consultations
A consultation is ₹999 — ₹799 for Insider members — and is paid in advance because the slot is then held for you alone.
- Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the start of your slot: full refund, or the fee is carried to a new time, whichever you prefer.
- Cancel inside 24 hours: the fee is not refundable, but we will move you once to another slot as a courtesy.
- Do not attend the call: the fee is not refundable. The slot was held and could not be offered to anyone else.
- If we cancel or cannot take the call: full refund, or a slot of your choosing, entirely as you prefer.
- If the call cannot be held because of a network or power failure at our end, we reschedule at no further cost.

The consultation fee is credited against work
If you engage us for the matter within fourteen days of the call, the consultation fee is adjusted against the first invoice for that engagement. That adjustment is not a refund and is not payable in cash.

The Taxbiz Insider subscription
Taxbiz Insider is ₹299 a month and renews automatically until you cancel.
- Cancel at any time, from the link in any issue or by emailing us. There is no notice period and no cancellation charge.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. Access to the archive continues to the end of the month you have already paid for.
- The month in progress is not refunded, because the issues for it have already been delivered.
- If you were charged after cancelling, or charged twice, tell us and we will refund it in full without argument.

Professional engagements
Engagements are quoted as a fixed fee before work starts. If you call off an engagement partway, you pay for the work completed to that point and we refund the balance; if we have not started, the whole advance comes back.
Where a filing has already been made or a government fee already paid, that part of the fee cannot be refunded — the work exists and the money has left our hands.
If a filing is late or wrong because of something we did, we correct it at our cost. Where a penalty arises directly from our error, we deal with it under the liability terms in the terms of service.
05
Statutory and third-party fees
Municipal fees, MCA charges, stamp duty, portal charges and similar government payments are collected at actuals and paid onward. Once paid to an authority they are outside our control and are refundable only if that authority refunds them.
06
How to ask, and how long it takes
Email hello@taxbiz.ai with the payment reference and one line about what you would like. We reply within two working days. Approved refunds are sent back to the original payment method, and typically reach you within five to seven working days of approval, depending on your bank.
