What personal information Taxbiz Advisory collects, why we hold it, who ever sees it, and how to have it removed.

    The short version

    We collect what we need to do your work and nothing else. We do not sell your information, we do not share it for advertising, and you can ask us to delete it at any time subject to the records the law requires us to keep.

    What we collect

    • Contact details you give us: name, phone number, email address and the state you are in.
    • Enquiry and consultation details: the matter you describe to us and the notes taken during a call.
    • Documents you send for an engagement: PAN, Aadhaar, registration certificates, invoices, bank statements and similar records.
    • Subscription details: the email address you subscribe with, and whether a subscription is active.
    • Basic technical information your browser sends when you load a page, such as the page requested and the approximate region.

    Why we hold it

    To answer your enquiry, to schedule and hold a consultation, to carry out an engagement and file on your behalf, to send the newsletter you asked for, and to keep the records that tax and company law require us to keep.

    We do not use your documents to train anything, and we do not build a profile of you for marketing purposes.

    Who else sees it

    Only where it is necessary, and only to the extent necessary:

    • Government portals — GST, the income tax portal, MCA, the Labour and Tourism departments — when we file on your instructions.
    • The service providers that run this site, our email, our scheduling and our payment collection. They process data on our behalf under their own terms.
    • A professional adviser you have asked us to coordinate with.
    • A public authority where the law compels disclosure.

    Where it is kept, and for how long

    Engagement records are retained for the period required under the applicable tax and company legislation, which is generally several years after the relevant financial year. Enquiries that do not become engagements are kept for a short period and then deleted.

    Access is limited to the people in the practice who are working on your matter.

    Cookies and measurement

    This site is served as static pages and does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we ever add analytics, this section will say which tool, what it records, and how to opt out — before it goes live, not after.

    The newsletter

    We email you only what you subscribed to. Every issue carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list without affecting any engagement you have with us.

  8. 08

    Your choices

    • Ask us what we hold about you, and get a copy.
    • Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
    • Ask us to delete what we are not legally required to retain.
    • Withdraw consent to marketing email at any time.

    Security

    We keep documents in access-controlled storage and use encrypted connections. No system is perfect: if a breach ever affects your information, we will tell you what happened and what we are doing about it.
